| | Everything ends with Oil. For the seven years, Jechul has been painting using oil paint, making this medium the most preferred way of expressing his vision. In recent years, he has been experiencing a heightened awareness of colors and shapes. Although never formally trained in art, his dedication to explore different mediums are now coming together to form a style that is new to him. [View Art Gallery] Execution of each oil painting usually takes more thinking and planning than the actual drawing time. Jechul takes his time to explore his options in picking subjects and laying out colors in his mind before painting. Never a painting accomplished without the whole picture. One can really ponder what is reality; if a painting already existed in a form of mind in one artists mind, doesn't that mean the painting already? This puzzling question tend to linger Jechul's mind as he work diligently to finish each painting. In any rate, he presents you this section of soundkeepers to let you see progress and stride in oil painting. Now in his 30's, Jechul is fully aware of the fact that the best of his work will begin to appear for the next twenty years or so. It is time to paint. Please come back to see the future creations. Best Regards, Soundkeepers |
